Danske Bank Markets Norway won the number one spot, for the first time ever, in the Norwegian 2017 Prospera benchmark survey for interest rate swaps.
-We are honoured to receive this vote of confidence from our clients, says Head of FICC & Co-Head of Markets, Ronny Junge-Larsen.
In the Prospera survey, clients highlight the quality of their discussions with the Danske Bank Markets team, and the personal contact.
– We have become number one by methodically working to meet our clients customized needs, offering a first class product, comments Junge-Larsen.
The interest rate swaps team has carefully built best in class competence in an increasingly complex field. At the same time, the team has focused on proactive customer contacts, tailoring their offering to individual clients.
These efforts have paid off in terms of customer satisfaction and increased market share. We are seen as the preferred partner for handling large transactions across all derivatives products. We also see a lot higher activity towards large international institutional investors.
Junge-Larsen tells further that the team is working under an increasingly challenging regulatory regime.
– We are well equipped, both in terms of expertise and technology, to address these challenges and to help both local and international clients. Our co-operation with the units in the global organization is an important part of that, says Junge-Larsen.
– Looking forward, we need to entrench and build on our position as our clients’ partner of choice. Our ambition is clear, to maintain this position and further improve our score in the Prospera survey next year, concludes Junge-Larsen.
